Don't buy any DLC and don't buy anything in the in-game store with baitcoins. Hi Jakkalas, ( interesting name, are you from RSA by any chance ? ), just stay away from any DLC gear. Your suggestions above sounds fair and I would feel much better about my purchase if the game was changed to rather use these credits for repair costs rather than baitcoin. I understand the need for progression and thus, the requirement to have baitcoin to buy these DLC's sounds fine, but to have to continue having to pay this expensive currency that forces me to play the game in a way that I might not want to doesn't make any sense to me. Reading about this baitcoin issue is making me doubt my purchase, as I don't want to be limited and need to farm to get to stuff in a game I already paid for. I don't have a lot of time to play games, so when I do, I want to feel like I'm making some progress. I just bought this game because I read the fishing mechanics are the best of any fishing game.
How would making this change negatively effect the game, and/or the player base? What has anyone got lose from making DLC gear repariable with credits, even at an increased cost, as well as or instead of Baitcoins?
